Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CoinLink handles information for external and embedded wallet accounts, public profiles, uploaded media, share links, and tip jar features.
Information We Collect
- Account information, including your wallet addresses, wallet types, username, public profile status, tip destinations, and tip jar setting.
- Profile content you choose to add, including biographies, links, contract addresses, avatars, banners, and temporary share links.
- Authentication and security data, including wallet-signature login events, email or Google identifiers used through Privy, Privy user and wallet identifiers, passkey MFA status, session cookies, device/browser details, IP-derived logs, and basic service diagnostics.
How We Use Information
- To create and operate your account, publish your public profile, save profile changes, and generate share links.
- To provide wallet login, media upload, account safety, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.
- To respond to support, privacy, security, or legal requests.
Public Profiles and Blockchains
- If you make a profile public, your username, wallet address, profile content, links, and enabled tip jar may be visible to visitors.
- Blockchain activity is public and outside CoinLink control. We cannot delete or alter on-chain transactions, wallet history, or blockchain explorer records.
Service Providers
- We use service providers, including Privy for optional embedded-wallet authentication and key infrastructure, to host the app, store account data, store uploaded media, provide authentication sessions, and operate blockchain RPC or wallet-connection features.
- These providers process information only as needed to provide CoinLink and keep it secure.
Your Controls
- You can edit your profile, disable your public page, turn off the tip jar, delete temporary share links, and delete your account from the dashboard.
- Before deleting an account with embedded wallets, you must export and acknowledge a backup for each wallet. Deleting CoinLink data does not delete the Privy identity or embedded wallets, public blockchain data, or copies already saved by others.
Retention
- We keep account and profile information while your account remains active. We may keep limited logs, backups, or records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
Contact
- For privacy requests, account questions, or security concerns, contact the CoinLink team through the support channels linked from the app or the official CoinLink social accounts.
